Debussy Centenary recital, Breathe Arts Health Research performance, St Thomas Hospital, London 

In this centenary anniversary year, Emilie Capulet will be celebrating Debussy’s kaleidoscopic richness, colour and expressive palette in a recital of some of his most iconic works for solo piano, performing music inspired by the toccatas of the Baroque era, Impressionist paintings, Breton legends and Japanese prints. Her programme will include Pour le Piano, La Cathédrale Engloutie, Jardins sous la Pluie, La Fille aux Cheveux de Lin and L’Isle Joyeuse.

Emilie Capulet will be playing popular works by iconic German, Austrian and Hungarian composers in three evening piano recitals on board the M/S Arosa Riva, for this Musical Cruise along the Danube. She will also be presenting illustrated lectures on Klimt and Music, and Baroque music and art.

Emilie Capulet performs Schubert's Fantasy in F minor and Mozart's K497 sonata in F major for piano four hands with Julian Gallant. Emilie and Julian will also perform solo works by Beethoven and Brahms.

Emilie Capulet performs Mozart's K497 sonata in F major for piano four hands with Julian Gallant, joining the Portsmouth Festival Choir in Mozart's Requiem in a version for choir and piano four hands by Czerny for this special Remembrance Day concert.

Emilie Capulet and Julian Gallant will perform Schubert's Fantasie in F minor D940 and Mozart's four-hand piano sonata in F major K497 in one of the few surviving medieval churches in the City of London and the burial place of Samuel Pepys.

Emilie will be joined by Mark Dancer in a programme including Schubert's Fantasie in F minor D940 and Mozart's four-hand piano sonata in F major K497 in the historic Norman surroundings of one of the oldest churches in Brighton, St Nicholas Church, founded over 900 years ago.

Emilie Capulet will perform a vibrant programme of works for solo piano, inspired by Spain, from the mesmerizing rhythms of Flamenco and the syncopations of the Habanera to the poignant expression of Spanish gypsy song. The programme will include works by Albeniz, Scarlatti, Soler, Ravel and Debussy.
